IFA is Europe’s greatest international show for consumer electronics as well as a global forum.  For more than 10 years, the RESELLER PARK —run by TT-Messe’s Jan Nintemann—has been a business-only oasis within this giant consumer event.

IFA opens its doors to the public, but many manufacturers, distributors and suppliers only deal with trade. That’s where RESELLER PARK comes in…

Unless you can show a business card or have a fixed appointment with an exhibitor, you cannot enter the RESELLER PARK.  If you can show that you are in the business, you enter without any charge (while consumers cannot enter any at price).

What goes on INSIDE the RESELLER PARK?

RESELLER PARK is designed with most exhibits facing the public aisles, backing onto a common hospitality area and several trade-only stands. The area is filled with tables and chairs, along with some hospitality stands that provide food and drinks. All day long at IFA, dealers and distributors flock into the RESELLER PARK to grab a seat, meet an exhibitor, and do business over a coffee or tea and snack.

In fact, the drawing power of the large number of exhibitors in the RESELLER PARK, now more than 50 exhibitors, brings in many of EMEA’s largest chains and distributors. Once they are inside for one prospective new supplier, they often find other innovations of interest.

IFA itself annually records the fact that IFA is a big buying show and the giant multinationals report they sell millions at the show: in RESELLER PARK, it is the same process of wooing buyers.

Of course, there are buyers who just stop by to say hello to old friends and current suppliers. And some that come in just for coffee and to rest their weary feet. The Hall 9 RESELLER PARK has been so popular that the organizer has added some over-flow hospitality tents outside the hall [See photo below.]

But the seriousness of RESELLER PARK business audience is clear to anyone who enters. The product samples are out, the order forms on the table, and hard negotiating taking place. Once you enter this atmosphere, it’s hard to leave without checking out what the excitement is all about.

RESELLER PARK is in many ways is the one-stop shopping that business buyers want: they can lose the crush of the consumers in Berlin and find many interesting products all in one B2B area. RESELLER PARK is well-known for bringing innovations to the IFA show.

What’s inside the RESELLER PARK? The answer is business… business people making plenty of business.
